DeKalb County, GA to Launch Development Guide for Permitting and Business Licensing

Welcome to DeKalb County, Georgia!
DeKalb County has signed on with Camino’s Development Guide to streamline the pre-application process for building permits and business licenses.
The Guide acts as an online portal that helps applicants learn all the rules, regulations, and requirements related to their project before starting an application.
Using the County’s GIS, Camino will identify special zoning conditions to customize the answers to applicant’s questions. These questions can include:
- What will the setbacks be for my project?
- How much will my permit cost?
- Do I need a permit to install a 4-foot tall fence?
- What do you need from me if I install a pool?
The County will utilize the platform to provide immediate answers to these questions, provide high quality customer support and decrease processing times.
