Bremerton, WA Selects Camino for Online Permitting!

Bremerton, WA is the latest (and largest) city in Kitsap County to sign on to the Camino platform! With over 41,000 residents, Bremerton is the largest city on the Kitsap Peninsula. The staff is excited to use Camino’s Application Intake Portal to enhance the way the building department currently accepts permit applications. This will help customers easily apply for projects online and find the information they need about their project, ultimately reducing calls and questions at the permit center. The City joins other Washington-based partners such as Kitsap County, Port Orchard, and Bainbridge Island.
Camino’s Application Portal incorporates our revolutionary “Guide” technology, the first solution that makes it truly easy to get a building permit. Our software integrates GIS data to automatically detect whether a property is zoned correctly or susceptible to floods, fires, and other hazards. It also uses our rules engine to determine which forms, fees, and approvals are required to get a project done. All of this information is then presented to the permit applicant or business owner in an easy-to-understand, online format.
Bremerton staff will work with Camino and begin implementation this summer!
